
When we got to the hostel we checked in our bags because it was about 8AM and we could not check in until 1PM. We killed time by wandering around the city. We hit Subway for breakfast and then went to Foodtown to plan out our meals for our stay in Auckland.

We killed some more time wandering around before going back to the hostel and sitting on the computer for a bit before finally getting to check. We got checked in and I took a much needed shower after sleeping in the airport and Krystina took one too because she'd just gotten off a 17 hour plane ride.

After getting all cleaned up we made our way to Foodtown to get groceries for making pasta with lamb sausage. We also grabbed some ginger beer so Krystina could try it. We even got ID'd trying to buy it and I had to explain to the cashier that it was ginger beer and not actual beer.

We headed down to the kitchen before things got too out of control with dinner rush and commenced the cooking of the pasta and sausages. Dinner ended up being delicious as predicted and Krystina enjoyed her first foray with Ginger Beer. Tonight is going to be a rum and coke night!
